AJDC members are finalists in the Cultured Pearl Association Design Competition

Alishan Halebian and Paul Klecka were named finalists in the 10th Annual International Pearl Design Competition sponsored by the Cultured Pearl Association of America.

Halebian’s Polka Dot cuff won the President’s Trophy. The cuff is made of water buffalo horn with 18k gold, bezel set rubies in pink freshwater pearls with diamonds.

Paul Klecka’s Mandala Ring of 18k gold with a cultured Tahitian pearl won the Fashion Award.

Also, AJDC member Barbara Heinrich’s son Timo Krapf is one of the winners of the Orient Award for his 18k gold black diamond and pearl earrings.
