My wife, Josette, and I were in Hong Kong on a colored stone buying trip and took advantage of the opportunity to do a lot of tourism. We visited old temples, historical sights, old antique stores, and ventured outside of the city. The ring that is part of the ICE project was inspired by all the visuals from this trip. We chose to use a dendritic quartz because it reminded us of a frozen surface that had leaves trapped under it. Mark Patterson 96 ICE
